10th October 2023- South Denmark University

On 10th October, the Hybrid Power Plant Forum hosted a meeting at South Denmark University, bringing together participants from prominent organizations such as Better Energy, Vattenfall, Ørsted, Aarhus University, DTU, and others. The session included presentations on cutting-edge topics like hybrid power plant control, grid stability, and energy storage solutions. Attendees engaged in insightful discussions on supercapacitors, the integration of wind and solar energy, and emerging regulatory challenges. The event fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, highlighting innovative approaches to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of hybrid power systems.

4th November 2024 - Technical University of Denmark

On 4th November 2024, the Danish Hybrid Wind Power Plant Forum held its annual meeting at DTU Risø Campus. The event brought together key participants from industry and academia, including representatives from Ørsted, Vattenfall, and DTU, to discuss advances and challenges in hybrid power systems. The agenda featured presentations on topics such as IEA tasks related to hybrid power, national energy system transition facilities, and IEC standards for wind generation systems. Attendees engaged in thematic group discussions on AI integration, control architectures, and market opportunities for hybrid plants. The day concluded with a tour of the Risø Hybrid Power Plant Facility, providing a hands-on look at experimental setups supporting Denmark’s renewable energy goals.
